DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA) implies that the coral arrived dead. This does not apply to the specimen dying in your home aquarium after a certain duration. Clear photos implies that the photo is now blurry and is of high resolution with complete visibility of the damage area or dead coral. It is completely natural for some corals to not open immediately after place in home aquariums. It make take up to a week for some to open; in extreme cases, even longer. Some corals may lose coloration due to shipping stress. Corals can expel zooxanthelle and appear duller compared to the photo of the specimen purchased but can recover. Corals that break during transit such as Small Polyp Stony or SPS are not damaged and/or dead and are 100% recoverable. All corals are photographed under LED and T5 Lighting and may appear different under your home lighting due to different lighting sources, intensity. and spectrum. In time, some corals in your tank may morph due to your tank variations from ours which is a normal occurrence. We, also, assume that each buyer has done the proper research on each livestock and equipment before purchase. We are not responsible for any misuse, damages, abuse, or negligence once received.
